Frank J. Anderson Jr. - President, Strategic Public Sector Solutions, LLC; Brigadier General (USAF, Ret.). A recognized thought leader on talent development, strategic human capital planning, and workforce alignment, Mr. Anderson is a frequently requested speaker and author. During his decade of leadership as president and chief learning officer at the Defense Acquisition University (DAU), Mr. Anderson used learning to impact business, support stakeholders and implement processes to improve accountability and efficiency. He also served as the first director for human capital initiatives for the Department of Defense (DOD) defense acquisition workforce.
Mr. Anderson was selected by peers as the first Chief Learning Officer of the Year by Chief Learning Officer magazine. Under his leadership, DAU won more learning, workforce development, and leadership awards than any other organization from 2004-2010. He co-authored the book Leading a Learning Revolution: The Story Behind Defense Acquisition University's Reinvention of Training.
Optimizing organizational performance through sustainable solutions that engage stakeholders at all levels, Kym has diversified industry experience; developing results focused interventions, for both the public and not for profit sectors. She began her career as a corporate trainer for Kaplan Higher Education, where she was a part of the first team created to centralize and standardize the onboarding process and training standards for over 500 admissions representatives who were located throughout the United States. After her time with Kaplan, she spent two years as the Manager of Sales Training for the largest revenue generating division of Stericycle, Inc., where she redesigned the onboarding process and led training programs during a time of tremendous growth. In her previous role, Manager of Learning & Organizational Development at the College of American Pathologists, she was responsible for leading change management for Enterprise IT transformation projects, managing sustainable strategies for various organizational initiatives and supporting management and leadership development programs. Kym is an Indiana native and graduated from Butler University in 2008, with a BA in Political Science and Communication Studies and a minor in Gender Studies.
