Barry Alvarez is in his 12th year as Director of Athletics at the University of Wisconsin in 2015-16, and his 10th without the additional title of head football coach. Alvarez served as A.D. and football coach from 2004-05.

Optimizing organizational performance through sustainable solutions that engage stakeholders at all levels, Kym has diversified industry experience; developing results focused interventions, for both the public and not for profit sectors. She began her career as a corporate trainer for Kaplan Higher Education, where she was a part of the first team created to centralize and standardize the onboarding process and training standards for over 500 admissions representatives who were located throughout the United States. After her time with Kaplan, she spent two years as the Manager of Sales Training for the largest revenue generating division of Stericycle, Inc., where she redesigned the onboarding process and led training programs during a time of tremendous growth. In her previous role, Manager of Learning & Organizational Development at the College of American Pathologists, she was responsible for leading change management for Enterprise IT transformation projects, managing sustainable strategies for various organizational initiatives and supporting management and leadership development programs. Kym is an Indiana native and graduated from Butler University in 2008, with a BA in Political Science and Communication Studies and a minor in Gender Studies.
